Jessica Breland Named ACC Sixth Player Of The Year

North Carolina sophomore Jessica Breland earned the Atlantic Coast Conference's first-ever Sixth Player of the Year honor, league commissioner John Swofford announced Tuesday. The award is selected by a vote of the league's 12 head coaches. Breland averaged 10.8 points and 7.4 rebounds during the regular season, by far the most among non-starters in the league.
