Silence was not a good sign for the Charlotte 49ers. North Carolina halted the 49ers' high-scoring offense and halted their school-record-tying 17-game home winning streak with a 5-0 victory Wednesday night in front of an overflow crowd of 1,701 at Hayes Stadium. Freshman right-hander Chris Munnelly, who starred at Forsyth Country Day, scattered four hits and struck out five in six innings as the Tar Heels built a 3-0 lead.
