Sylvia Hatchell Donates $50,000 To Pediatric Oncology Fund

More than 1,000 career games and 35 seasons of coaching makes UNC women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell one of the most experienced educators on the UNC campus. That's just one reason why the N.C. Cancer Hospital's Pediatric Oncology Classroom, part of the Hospital School at UNC, will be named in honor of her $50,000 commitment to the N.C. Cancer Hospital Pediatric Oncology Endowment Fund.
