Sylvia Hatchell wins 500th at UNC

After the third-ranked North Carolina women's basketball team routed Clemson 79-47 on Thursday night, coach Sylvia Hatchell was handed a cap colored Carolina blue with the number 500 emblazoned on the front. The coach, who led the Tar Heels to an NCAA championship in 1994, proudly pulled on the cap and waved to the crowd at Carmichael Auditorium, sharing its enthusiasm for her latest milestone.
