Italee Lucas scored 21 points, Jessica Breland added 19 and Chay Shegog had 18 to help North Carolina out Washington State on Friday in the Rainbow Wahine Showdown. The Tar Heels trio combined to go 25-of-44 from the field. Tierra Ruffin-Pratt had 11 points and nine rebounds and Laura Broomfield added eight points and 10 rebounds for North Carolina.
