UNC Women Make Quick Work of Gardner-Webb, 109-44

Senior centers Chay Shegog and Laura Broomfield each had double-doubles for No. 20 North Carolina in a 109-44 rout of Gardner-Webb on Saturday. Shegog tied her career high with 19 points and had 10 rebounds, and Broomfield added 15 points and 14 rebounds. Freshman wing Megan Buckland had 17 points in her first start for North Carolina, while Danielle Butts had 12.
