Clemson puts Tar Heels, party on ice

Thursday night’s game against Clemson was supposed to be a celebration for North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell, who was on the cusp of her 600th win with the Tar Heels. Instead she was left questioning how her team could put together its lowest point total ever at home — against a team that started the night on the bottom of the ACC standings.
