UNC women aim for streak against Wolfpack

When the North Carolina women’s basketball team took the floor against Virginia Tech on Thursday, Coach didn’t bother much with the usual strategies — she just told them to play hard. No. 24 UNC pulled out a 56-37 win over the Hokies, snapping a three-game losing streak. The Tar Heels now hope to start a winning streak when they travel to N.C. State today (1 p.m., Fox Sports South). (Durham Herald-Sun)
