UNC women aim for streak against Wolfpack

When the North Carolina women’s basketball team took the floor against Virginia Tech on Thursday, Coach Sylvia Hatchell didn’t bother much with the usual strategies — she just told them to play hard. No. 24 UNC pulled out a 56-37 win over the Hokies, snapping a three-game losing streak. The Tar Heels now hope to start a winning streak when they travel to N.C. State today (1 p.m., Fox Sports South).
