Larkins replaces Latta as UNC's star

The curtain has closed on “The Ivory Latta Show.” During the past four seasons at North Carolina, the unquestioned face of the program was Latta, a diminutive point guard with an ever-present smile and uniquely flashy attitude. Now, with soft-spoken forward Erlana Larkins sliding into the role of the team’s biggest star, the Tar Heels should be significantly less outspoken but just as formidable in the ACC.
