Tar Heel Women Hang On To Beat Florida State, 71-66

Laura Broomfield had 17 points to lead four Tar Heels in double figures and North Carolina snapped a three-game losing streak with a 71-66 win over Florida State Wednesday night at the Donald L. Tucker Center. Carolina (18-8, 8-5 ACC) led by 13 at halftime and by as many as 14 in the second half before holding on for the key league victory.
