Christina Dewitt won't play for UNC this season

North Carolina forward Christina Dewitt has not rejoined the Tar Heels this season. "She's taking a year off for personal reasons," UNC coach Sylvia Hatchell said. Dewitt, a 6-foot-2 junior, is in a team picture in UNC's media guide, but her name is not on the roster. Dewitt missed much of last season for reasons UNC never fully explained. She played 15 games and averaged 3.7 points.
