UNC Baseball Season Ends With 9-5 Loss To St. John's
Posted Jun 3, 2012
UNC baseball led briefly early in Sunday’s elimination game, but they never could mount a lasting charge in the rematch against the Red Storm, falling 9-5 to St. John’s. The loss takes the Heels out of contention in the NCAA tournament, ending their season. The Heels won't appear in the College World Series for just the second time since 2006. UNC ends its season with a final record of 46-16.
