UNC Takes Rain-Shortened Game, 6-1

No. 1 North Carolina claimed a midweek sweep of visiting James Madison (20-25) on Wednesday with a 6-1 win in a rain-shortened contest that was called in the sixth inning. The Tar Heels improve to 44-4 on the year with the win as senior Chris Munnelly moves his record to 5-0. Munnelly threw five innings of one-run ball as he allowed two hits and struck out six.
