UNC Drops Series Opener At Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech's (31-19, 13-12 ACC) Mott Hyde hit a walk off solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday night to down No. 1 North Carolina (44-5, 19-4 ACC), 5-4, in Atlanta. The Tar Heels let an early 3-0 lead slip away Friday as the Yellow Jackets used a four-run third inning to take the lead.
