Tar Heel Women Tip Off 2013-2014 Season

The eleventh-ranked UNC women’s basketball team will begin their season Wednesday night in an exhibition contest against Carson-Newman. The game will tip off at 6 p.m. in Carmichael Arena. Admission is free. Carson-Newman is the alma mater of UNC head coach Sylvia Hatchell. Hatchell played basketball and volleyball while earning a degree in physical education. (Chapelboro.com)
