UNC Women Sign 5-Star Point Guard Jamie Cherry

The UNC women's basketball program signed high school senior Jamie Cherry to a National Letter of Intent, announced Wednesday by head coach Sylvia Hatchell. Cherry, a 5-7 point guard from West Craven High School, is a five-star prospect that is ranked the ninth best guard in the class by ESPN HoopGurlz. "Not only is Jamie a great point guard, she's also an outstanding person that comes from a wonderful family and is a terrific student-athlete," said Hatchell.
