Diamond DeShields led the Tar Heels with 16 points and five steals in the 91-51 win over Coppin State on Sunday at Carmichael Arena. Carolina had four score double digits in the final home game before the team heads south to the Cancun Challenge over the Thanksgiving holiday. Jessica Washington recorded her first career start as a Tar Heel, posted 14 points and five assists.
