Rough postseason continues for Alex White
Posted Jun 24, 2007
Alex White wanted the ball in Thursday's elimination game for another shot at the Rice Owls, but had to wait another day for his second chance, which would come against defending nation champion OSU. His performance was only slightly better against the Beavers, allowing five runs in 5 1/3 innings. He kept the Tar Heels close while on the mound, but his freshman counterpart, OSU pitcher Jorge Reyes, kept them from taking the lead.
