ACC Names Diamond DeShields Rookie Of The Week

North Carolina guard Diamond DeShields was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday after leading her club to a pair of victories over top 20 clubs last week. DeShields earned the award for the second time this season by averaging 23.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in wins over No. 20 NC State and No. 17 Florida State. She scored 18 of her 25 points after UNC fell behind by 12 points in the first half.
