Diamond DeShields Selected To Wooden Midseason List


North Carolina freshman has been named to the John R. Wooden Award Women's Midseason Top 20 list. The Norcross, Ga., product is the only freshman listed among some of the most elite players in the sport. DeShields is averaging a team-leading 16.4 points in helping her ninth-ranked Tar Heels to a 15-3 record and its best national ranking in three seasons. (GoHeels.com)
