Diamond cuts down another

The No. 17 Tar Heels won their third straight game with an 89-82 win over No. 10 N.C. State Wolfpack at Reynolds Coliseum on Sunday. Diamond DeShields scored 38 points. Along with fellow freshman Allisha Gray, who contributed 18 points and six rebounds, the tandem took care of 63 percent of the Tar Heels’ scoring to beat another ranked Triangle-area team in less than a week.
