Posted Feb 17, 2014
North Carolina's Diamond DeShields scored 38 points Sunday in an 89-82 victory over the Wolfpack, the most ever in a game for a UNC women's hoops freshman. It's also the most any Tar Heel has scored in a game since Tracy Reid's 42 in 1998. That was in a triple-overtime game; DeShields played 36 minutes Sunday.
