espnW Selects Diamond DeShields As National Freshman Of The Year


North Carolina guard has been named National Freshman of the Year by espnW. DeShields, the 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year and first team All-ACC selection, is averaging 18.0 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Tar Heels during the 2013-14 season.
