Diamond DeShields to leave UNC on 'good terms'

North Carolina freshman Diamond DeShields released a statement on twitter Thursday regarding her decision to transfer. "I would like the thank my coaches, teammates, professors, fans, alumni, athletic department, the community and everyone that has supported me here at UNC," DeShields tweeted. "I would also like to add that after meeting with Coach Hatchell on several different occasions over the course of this year, I have decided to transfer from the University of North Carolina."
