Michael Russell Named Third-Team Louisville Slugger All-America

North Carolina junior shortstop Michael Russell was named to the 2014 Louisville Slugger NCAA Division I All-American baseball third team, the Collegiate Baseball newspaper announced Thursday. A native of Huntersville, North Carolina, Russell has hit a team-high .345 in 57 games in leading the Tar Heels to a spot in the NCAA Gainesville Regional this weekend.
