Sylvia Hatchell: ‘It’s great to be back’

That familiar scowl returned to the bench of the UNC women's basketball team. It belonged to head coach Sylvia Hatchell. Like tears of joy, Hatchell's frowning was a good thing, representing the grit with which she fought cancer. And won. Hatchell returned to the bench for an exhibition against Carson-Newman in Carmichael Arena on Wednesday. The Tar Heels won the tune-up 88-27.
