Sylvia Hatchell Earns Career Victory No. 950

UNC Hall of Fame coach Sylvia Hatchell became just the second women’s basketball coach in history to win 950 career games when her Tar Heels topped Georgia Tech, 96-81m on Sunday. The active leader in victories among all collegiate women’s basketball coaches, Hatchell remains second all-time in victories to friend and former Tennessee head coach Pat Summitt.
