Charlotte Smith To Enter NC Sports Hall Of Fame

Made famous for making “The Shot” to give North Carolina the 1994 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship, Tar Heel All-America Charlotte Smith is among 10 members of the 2015 class that will be inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame. An all-state honoree at Shelby High School, Smith is considered the most decorated player in Carolina women’s basketball history.
