Help The Diamond Heels Go Bald To Fight Cancer
Posted Mar 23, 2007
In honor of Reece Holbrook and student manager Chase Jones, the Diamond Heels are challenging their fans to help them raise money to fight cancer. For each $100 donated to the Reece Holbrook Golf Classic before April 10, one Tar Heel baseball player will shave his head on the Boshamer Stadium field following the April 15 game against Duke. With 39 players on the roster, the event could raise as much as $4,000 to fight pediatric cancer.
