UNC survives a scare from Irish

UNC survived a surprisingly tense encounter with Notre Dame in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, buckling down on defense in the final 10 minutes to escape with a 60-51 win. Junior forward also helped the Tar Heels' cause down the stretch, scoring a number of key layups to finish with 10 points and 11 rebounds. While only went 4-of-12 from the field, she was dynamite from the free-throw line. (Durham Herald-Sun)
