UNC Women Hold Off Miami, 66-65

Jamie Cherry’s two free throws with 1.7 seconds left gave No. 17 North Carolina a 66-65 victory at Miami on Sunday. North Carolina (22-6, 9-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) was paced by 15 points from Allisha Gray and 14 points and 14 rebounds by Stephanie Mavunga. N’Dea Bryant and Brittany Rountree added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
