Astros prospect Colin Moran sidelined after jaw surgery

Astros prospect Colin Moran, a third baseman at Class AA Corpus Christi, will be out four to six weeks after undergoing surgery to repair his fractured jaw. “Had a successful surgery last night,” Moran said via text message. “Doing great.” Moran had the surgery in Houston. He said he’s able to talk, but on a liquid diet for five to seven days and team officials will see where he is after that.
