Virginia scored five runs in the first two innings and Brandon Waddell pitched seven scoreless innings as the Cavaliers beat North Carolina 6-2 Friday night at Boshamer Stadium. J.B. Bukauskas allowed five runs in 1.1 innings for the Tar Heels, who secured a spot in next week's ACC Championship despite the loss thanks to Wake Forest's loss at Duke.
