Tar Heel Women Win A.C.C. Tournament

Ivory Latta scored 20 points Sunday to lead No. 4 North Carolina to a 60-54 victory against North Carolina State in the ACC Tournament final at Greensboro Coliseum. It was the third A.C.C. tournament title in a row for the Tar Heels and the third consecutive Most Valuable Player award for Latta. Latta became the career leading scorer at North Carolina with 2,212 points, surpassing Tracy Reid’s 2,200.
