Lady Heels seniors finish home careers in style


Fourth-ranked North Carolina said goodbye to its two seniors [ and ] Thursday night during a 96-47 shellacking of Wake Forest. UNC is 114-15 during the duo's careers -- the most successful four-year period in the program's history. The pair won two ACC championships and got UNC to its second Final Four. Fan interest has risen considerably. More than 5,000 fans turned out Thursday. (Raleigh News & Observer)
