Tar Heel women blow out Miami

The verdict came Friday when N.C. State upset an uninspired North Carolina. The sentencing came Saturday when UNC coach Sylvia Hatchell made the Tar Heels' players run in practice to the point that Ivory Latta said wasn't sure she'd make it. The No. 2 Tar Heels proved they had been rehabilitated on Sunday when they pounded Miami 93-70 at Carmichael Auditorium. (Durham Herald-Sun)
