Maggie Lyon scored a career-high 31 points to lead No. 15 Northwestern to an 85-72 win over North Carolina in the annual Big Ten/ACC Women’s Challenge on Wednesday night at Carmichael Arena. Senior Xylina McDaniel led UNC (5-4) with a season-high 22 points and nine rebounds, while classmate N’Dea Bryant added 16 points and nine boards.
