Louisville Holds Off Tar Heel Women's Basketball

Mariya Moore scored a game-high 22 points to lead No. 13 Louisville to a 78-60 victory over North Carolina Thursday at Carmichael Arena. Freshman Stephanie Watts led UNC (12-12, 2-7 ACC) with 16 points. Hillary Summers notched her sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Destinee Walker added 12 points.
