Former Tar Heels player to return as member of Elon's baseball staff

Jesse Wierzbicki will have an unusual vantage point of tonight’s baseball game at Boshamer Stadium. “I’ve never been over there on the opposing team,” the Elon volunteer assistant coach said. Elon visits UNC, where Wierzbicki is a former player and ex-staff member. Last year, Wierzbicki was completing work on his degree so he became an undergraduate assistant coach.
