Upgrades coming at Carmichael

Carolina has put in new bleachers and new seats [in Charmichael Auditorium] but has a slew of more important changes coming. This year, the UNC athletics department is planning renovations to Carmichael, ones that UNC coach Sylvia Hatchell says are worth $15 million. With a new Carmichael on the way, there's no need to play in the Smith Center.
