UNC Baseball Assistant Scott Jackson Named Head Coach At Liberty

Scott Jackson, who spent eight seasons at North Carolina as assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator, was named head coach at Liberty University Sunday. Jackson came to Chapel Hill in 2008 after one season at Liberty and will replace former Flames head coach Jim Toman, who stepped down in June after nine seasons in Lynchburg.
