Former UNC basketball star LaToya Sanders posts highest-scoring game at Olympics

A former UNC basketball star posted the highest-scoring game of the Rio Olympics thus far on Tuesday. But it wasn’t U.S. men’s team member Harrison Barnes. It was LaToya Sanders. Known by her maiden name LaToya Pringle when she played for the Tar Heels, the 6-foot-3 center scored 36 points for Turkey — where she plays professionally.
