Bates, Warren Named To All-ACC Academic Team

UNC pitchers Colin Bates and Adam Warren were named to the 2008 All-ACC Academic Team, which was announced Friday by commissioner John Swofford. Warren was also named to the squad in 2006, while Bates is a first-time selection. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned at least a 3.00 GPA for the previous semester and maintained at least a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
