Providence Day girls basketball star Janelle Bailey commits to UNC

Providence Day All-America girls basketball player Janelle Bailey has committed to North Carolina. Bailey, a 6-4 senior center, is a three-time all-state pick. Last season, she averaged 16.8 points and 8.8 rebounds and led the Chargers to their seventh straight 3A state championship and a 27-2 record. She had more than 50 Division I college scholarship offers.
