Astros call up third baseman Colin Moran
Posted Sep 17, 2016
The Houston Astros on Friday summoned third baseman Colin Moran as a late September call-up, a sign Alex Bregman's hamstring injury is more than a day-to-day matter. Moran batted .259 with a .697 OPS in 459 at-bats in Class AAA this season. This will be his second stint in the majors this season. He was 2 for 19 over six games in May.
