Carolina Women's Basketball Eases Past Alabama A&M

Stephanie Watts scored 28 points to lead UNC to an 80-35 victory over Alabama A&M on Thursday at Carmichael Arena (highlights). Watts, the 2016 ACC Freshman of the Year, caught fire in the second half with 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc. She hauled in 11 rebounds for her eighth career double-double, and had six makes from three-point land.
