Off The Bat: North Carolina Makes Strong ACC Statement

ACC play began this weekend with a marquee series between North Carolina and Virginia. The Tar Heels won the opening game behind another strong start from righthander J.B. Bukauskas, and the Cavaliers evened the series in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. Undaunted, North Carolina bounced back to win the nightcap, 12-2, and claim the series.
