UNC Women's Basketball Signs Dazia Powell

The UNC women's basketball team has added Dazia Powell for the upcoming 2017-18 season, announced Thursday by coach Sylvia Hatchell. Powell, a McDonald's All-American nominee and an academic all-conference selection, is a 5-10 guard from Raleigh's (N.C.) Millbrook High School and club programs: Carolina All-Stars, Hoop Dreams Athletics and NC Zoom.
