UNC baseball back again in role of favorite entering NCAA tournament

UNC will host No. 4 seed Davidson in the Chapel Hill region, at 6 p.m. Friday. Though UNC expected a high seed, seeing it become reality brought new emotions. Only UNC’s oldest players have played in the NCAA tournament. None of them have been around long enough to see the Tar Heels host a regional, which they did in 2013 on the way to the College World Series.
