Dalatri, Hiatt, McGee Earn Freshman All-America Baseball Honors

Gianluca Dalatri, Josh Hiatt and Ashton McGee were named to the 2017 Collegiate Baseball Freshmen All-American team, announced Wednesday. Dalatri, a right-hander from Wall Township, New Jersey, went 7-3 with a 3.34 ERA in 15 starts his rookie season. Charlotte product Hiatt was a bullpen stalwart who registered 13 saves and had a 0.29 ERA in ACC competition.
